hey everyone i know i have read the post on here about clutches but they dont really get into how much HPand TQ they can hold. well i should have around 300 plus hp to the wheels dont know becasue the clutch started slipping on the dyno and i need a new one dont want to go with ACT 2600 so what are some other options that arnt too crazy in price but something that will alst and hold 300 - 400 plus hp i also dont want anything that is going to put a lot more pressure on the peddle because of how that affects the thrust bearing adn will help my car to CRANKWALK AGAIN!! ca someone also explain the diff types of disc to me ya know diff between 4puck 6 and so on. any input will help thanks alot check mods if you want to see what i have for apr. hp :thumb:

I've got a Competition clutch for sale. Very smooth engagement, 6 puck, holds 550hp with the pedal pressure of slightly more than stock. Has 1500 miles on it, in great shape.

Converting to an automatic, it was 500 new, I'll let it go for 400 shipped. We can talk price if you're a serius buyer. AIM Mroadster84 or call me 502 741 1413

It's the pressure plate, disc, and the Extreme Dowel Kit ($50) which is already installed on it. It'll hold anything you can throw at it.

act 2100 will hold those numbers fine ... if you are still worried then get a 2100 with a 6 puck.

Any pressure plate that uses more pressure than a stock clutch will put more stress on the thrust bearing. I suggest you leave your car stock if you don't want to deal with problems modding it may cause.

2100 will not hold at least acording to road race and pruven performace they told me if i go with act to get the 2600 they told me i would go through a 2100 within a couple months

I don't have any input on the clutches, but I'm pretty sure the guy doesn't want an ACT clutch. Stop reccomending ACT when he doesn't want one.. LOL

if you dont want act, have you thought about centerforce dual friction?????

it's pretty hard not to. it's like saying "i want to go fast in my car but i'm scared of speed". either an act 2600 or centerforce daul friction. why don't you want an act though?

ACT isn't the only company that makes clutches for dsm's.. He could get Other clutches such as centerforce, clutchmasters, clutchnet, exedy, gabor, sbr?, rre?, etc..

if you have read my first post i didn't want to go with ACT becasue of the high pedel increase i belive 55% harder then stock :thumb: the more pedle increase the more chance to crankwalk witch i have been through already see what i mean i know compitition clutches have lower peddle load but not sure how the clutch is thats why i was asking for some help

I still have my Competition for sale ;) I'll cut ya a good deal on it.

AIM Mroadster84 or just PM me on here. Thanks
