Ok Ill start off by saying my cousin has a 90 mit eclipes 2.0 5speed non turbo
the tranny would go in gear but wouldn't move in any gear . He bought a tranny from a guy that was driving the car and messed up the motor . We took out the old tranny and
replaced the clutch, pressure plate and T.O. bearing . New drivshafts.
Now when I put it in gear it does almost the same thing .The only this different is
when I engage the clutch and put it in first,2nd ect... the speedometer is working like Im
driving down the road. I shift and the MPH changes thru all the gears but Im not moving!
This tranny was sold on ebay and said that it will work on a 1.8 or 2.0 NT 90 thru 94 .
IF this is a 1.8 tranny could the cv joints going to the tranny be a different size making
it just spin inside the tranny ? I did some looking and found the CV or driveshafts on a
1.8 are different than a 2.0 .Can anyone give a sugestion? Im out of Ideas!
