I just got done replacing my master cyclinder I followed the manual to a T. But I cant seem to find a way to get the clevis pin back in the way it should be. It is the pin the that connects the master cyclinder to the petal. I have put it in backwards with out the cotter pin so there is nothing to keep the pin from comming lose. Is there a special tool or somthing to put that pin back in the right way I was just using my hand but I keep comming up about an inch short.

But I have allready removed the old horse shoe bracket from the pedal. Now getting that pin in for the new horse is a pain. I could put the pin in if I had glued to the tip of my finger but just using my thumb and first finger I come up about a inch short.

Take the master back out. Remove the horseshoe bracket and install that. Its easier without the master rod in the way. Then bring the master back in and screw the rod into the bracket.
