my tranny is got PWNED!!!!!

Well last night i lined up against a modded wrx and we were pretty even off the line in 1st gear, i couldnt get it into 2nd he started to pull ahead but it finally went in with a split second mini grind. top of 2nd i was ahead 3rd i pulled 4 cars and shut down. Well when i turned around i noticed i could not get my tranny into 1st if my life depended on it... So now i got it home drivng using 2nd, 3rd, 4th kicks out at high revs but sometimes goes in, 5th and Reverse... If it helps it feels like the entire thing shifted to the right , meaning its harder to go into 2nd unless you hug the wall with the shifter... 1st feels blocked off it will not go up into gear... any fixes or am i gonna have to take my talon down for the next month and send my tranny to shepard?????? if thats the case ill have to pwn people in my Isuzu Impulse AWD turbo on the weekends its just as fast cuz its light as hell...

Do you really have to ask? Your tranny is toast. Your bank account just got "pwned."

Did you check your shifter cables?

Yeah, the cables are fine it seems like. There is no loose parts or anything, and the clutch pedal is fine. Im thinking maybe my tranny is toast but im not sure.... Its gonna at least be a month before i get this thing rebuilt

its done, send it out ASAP.

IF you drive more, you will wipe out 4th.....even if you don't use 4th. Probably third too.

Yep park it, i drove my old tranny for 5k miles grinding really bad in 2/3/4 and my magnetic drain plug was covered in metal shavings. Replaced the tranny adn sold the gring SOB on ebay for $20 :laugh:

hmmm how many miles on the trans???????? Did ur shifter ever move when you let it fall from a high RPM??? it could be ur end nut. over time the nut backs out. its the VERY last nut on the Gear\synchro packs. take the first case of the trans. its right there. just a little something to throw out there.
