I currently have a 1G FWD with slight mods. It's clutch time for me and I seeking out advice on the 2100 or 2600. It is still my daily driver and will probably only see a couple of runs at the track and the occasional Honda stomping at a stop light. I am leaning towards the 2100. Any advice would be apreciated ASAP.

Thanks,
Frontwheeler

2100 should be alright for you. I think the 2600 is for the hardcore racer or someone that wants that extra lee-way on there clutch. I personally plan on going with a 2100 that will see alot of the track and occasonally street stomps mixed with daily driving. I also have a 2g tho and i want to stray away from promoting CW. I have heard of the 2100 holding up to numerous 12 sec pass's. I guess it really comes down to driver intellegence. Like after any clutch, when you are done with a run let it sit and cool. If you do that your clutch may live a long and fruit full life.

Don't waste your time and money on the ACT2100 - especially with your 6-bolt.

Although the need for major speed hasn'y hit you yet, trust me, it will. It may seem like a good idea to get the 2100 now, but down the road you'll be kicking yourself. Get the 2600 and save yourself future hassle.

whats the real difference between the 2100 and the 2600 that makes it so great ?? i too am in the market for a clutch

I think that itself answers your question. 2600. 'Nuff said. You'll get used to the pedal feel. ;)

Well, I'm the one that started this post, and I went with the 2100. It's already broke in and I installed it about 3 weeks now. Hooks up like one mean SOB. I can tell my engine mounts are a little weak now. If I his second hard enough my windshield wipers start up.
But experience a lot of wheel hop now. Any you guys got suggestions.

Oh, and after it was broke in the pedal pressure noticably stiffined up. But no complaining from me.

What kind of suspension are you running? Wheel hop can be attributed to worn engine mounts and a sloppy front suspension. You can try some polyurethane mounts and a set of aftermarket shocks.
