Ok, I almost got all the gremlins out of my car, I just have to work on the final problem. The clutch is engaging nearly right off the floor. I looked at all the vfaqs about clutch adjustment, and I did a search but I still have a question. If my clutch is grabbing off the floor, which way do I want the master cylinder rod to go? towards the cylinder or towards the pedal? I'm going to do this when I get home from work tonight so any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm also going to move that cruis control stop up too as I heard that helps

Key points:
- A little adjustment goes a long way b/c of hydraulics. You will be surprised.
- Be prepared to adjust it a couple of times. First time is usually to get engagement off the floor. Subsequent adjustments may end up being changes to undo the first one, since the clutch will slowly wear in and the engagement point will move up the pedal.
 
check for leaks on the slave also.

I had a similar problem except my engage point would "move around" a bit.
turns out i had a tiny leak in the slave and it was ingesting air. Found the leak once it got really bad...
I now fully disengage about 1 inch above the floor, and fully engage not much above that...

yeah I got it, almost done with the break in period, going to the track friday or sunday to test it out :) Thanks for the help
