Ok i start to pull out of the parking lot and i have to take off fast so i floor it and first gear is working alright and when the tranny goes to shift to second nothing happpens, it is like the car is in neutral. So i coast over to the side of the road and try to get it going and nadda. Reverse is the only thing that works. First gear doesn't even work anymore. It just keeps revving up.
Can somebody please tell me if i need a new tranny or what has happened.

check your tranny fluid level, if it has gone to low, it may cause your tranny to go into limpin mode, that is what happened to my tranny, i lost all my fluid and the onyl gear that worked was reveres and then that went and my tranny was blown good luck!

Well i took it to a respectable tranny shop and they said it is toast so i went out and bought a 97 tranny with 40,000 miles and the module for like 550 with 6 mnth warranty. Me and my dad are going to be putting it in in the next 5 days. While im at it i am going to put in my dress up kit.
