Please can anyone tell how many friction disks there are in KAAZ center diff?
Since the number of disks is directly related to diffs smoothness.

Has anyone tried other clutch type diffs? Tomei, ATS/Cusco?
What other options are out there?

Im thinking of running Quaife front for eliminating torque steer and KAAZ/TOMEI center diff. Am I thinking right?

Make sure you understand what effect a mechanical centre diff will have on your car first. The difference between a helical and clutch diff and their effect on the car's handling is quite significant. If your primary concern is drag racing a mechanical diff is probably fine, but if your brand of fun involves autocrossing or similar I don't you'll be very happy.

A mechanical centre diff works like a welded diff under power, fine (I presume) for drag racing, but no fun in corners. A helical centre diff will allow differential shaft speeds in a similar fashion to the OEM diff, but as soon as one end starts to break traction - like the rear under heavy acceleration - the diff will shift the torque to the other end.

The car will be a very different animal depending on which diff you choose.

(mechanical rear, helical centre, helical front LSDs - I like corners :)

The three diff you mentioned...
how did you modify your rear diff,
what options are available for a helical center diff?
what about the helical lsd in the front?

The rear is a Kaaz 1.5 way, set to 60% locking
The centre is a Cusco Tarmac.
The front is a Quaife.
