Just curious... the dual cone syncro upgrade along with the 2nd gear and hub/slider.... is that a custom build part or is that a part found in later DSMs? Thought it was found in the 2G transmission, but looking back, my 96 GSX had a single blocking ring with slant cut teeth. Unless it is from 97-99 they did this? I can easily just buy the kit from BM or TRE, but I'd like to save some money wherever I can and since most "upgrades" are just recycled parts from different years, I figure I can get the same parts from the dealer for less so I'd rather do that.
Also, the syncros some shops sell as upgrades... are they really upgrades or are they just 97-99 syncros?
Anyone knows the answers to these questions, I'd really appreciate it.
