how hard is it to install a speed fwd trans in a 1st gen talon? any tips or tricks? webistes with insturctions?

I just pulled out my FWD trans in my 98' and it was really easy, just time consuming. I had a lift and all air tools so it probably went alot easier for me then it would if you did it in your garage. With pulling the trans apart, replacing the diff, installing the clutch, installing the flywheel, putting the trans back in, minus clean up time, taking breaks, and bleeding the clutch, it took me about 7 hours or less. This was my first time pulling a DSM trans. it was pretty easy though. Just look on www.vfaq.com or check here DSMTuners Tech advice

Also buy a chilton's or a haynes manual to help you out.
