Any one can give an advance about upgrading automatic transmission to make it more durable.
(Eclipse'99 turbo)

You really should do a better search on this topic because it has been asked, and answered many times.

I have an automatic and can give you a little help though.

They have also have torque converters, they run about $500.

For durablity go with transmission coolers. An external cooler with built in fan will help keep your oil cool when you are power braking. Your stock trans has a line that goes into the radiator before it goes to an external cooler. It doesn't really help at all when you are at a stand still because no cold air is going over the cooler, and you will burn up your trans.

I am probably stepping into the argument pool, and for all those out there that read this and have manuals please don't argue about it. An automatic that is built is going to give you more consistant launches. I would rather have the automatic because I put my foot down it goes, I put my foot on the brake before the light goes green and rev up to 2k plus, generating boost, let off the brake and launch like a mo fo. Upgrading your trans is going to give you better power transfer and quicker shifts. Hope the levelten site helps you out. There is a couple more out there on the web, just search for them.
