I just dropped my tranny this weekend and installed my 2600. I had the flywheel resurfaced and added a .610 step. I've noticed that when i feather the clutch, generally from a stop, it shutters until i'm off of it. It's kind of hard to explain.. sort of feels like a mild wheel hop. Can anyone shine any insight on what might be the problem? Or maybe it's normal until it's broken in?

Thanks,
rivet0r

it will take time for it to break in, as long as engagement and linkage is fine, i wouldn't worry. Just be easy on it :thumb:

Thanks for the replies guys, I really appreciate it. I figured it was normal for it being a brand new clutch, but again, I obviously wasn't sure and wanted to make sure. So far I have been very easy on my clutch, and will continue to most likely another 500 city miles, just to play it safe.

Thanks guys,

How do you like that feramic? I just got mine in the mail, and dropped my tranny tonight (biggest pain in the ass ever). It is all going back friday so I hope this thing is good because I don't ever want to do this again.
