Something loose in tranny

i bought a jdm awd 5speed tranny a while ago... it just chillin till my old one goes

anyways, the other day i went to move it and it sounded like something was loose inside.

the noise was coming from the end opposite the engine. it sounds like a tiny piece of something is loose inside, it sounds like its coming from the rear cover (what haynes manual call it)

anyone have a clue what it is b4 i take it apart?

Probably one of the 32mm nuts for the shafts inside. I would take it apart and check that before you do anything with it.

yeah i tried to take it apart like the vfaq said but i cant get the casings loose at all, they are definatly stuck

If you got all the bolts off, then the only thing holding it on is the silicone sealant, aka, RTV. Just find a spot to gently pry the cases apart. If it's stuck really bad, try tapping gently on the side of the case with a metal hammer, tap near the spot where you're prying. Don't use too much force, the aluminum is pretty soft.
