Okay, so I've put about 1500 miles on the newly rebuilt (shep racing) transmission and new clutch and 1st 2nd and 3rd are all grinding. 3rd gear was the only one that I damaged from a bad speedshift. I don't understand why the other gears are grinding during normal driving. It's a stock flywheel and a 2600, which I've been told could cause a problem if it's not cut to the right step height.
To get to my point. I want to know at the bare minimun what I need to replace besides the few synchros that might be damaged? Also, since there are only 1500 miles on the new clutch, would I be looking for trouble if I just replaced the disk?
Lastly, how much different is the removal of the transmission from my Galant than the removal of one from a DSM. I would like step by step instructinos on it, but the only ones I know of are from the VFAQ and they're DSM specific. Not Galant.
Thanks for any help.

did u resurface the flywheel correctly? put in some syncromesh or syncroshift tranny fluid and try adjusting ur clutch and see if that helps any.

I had the flywheel resurfaced by a reputable machinest. Castrol gear oil was put in initially and I fushed it and put more in. No change whatsoever. The clutch didn't need adjustment. Catches roughly half way up.

probably the best thing to do is to pull the tranny out along with the clutch and flywheel, inspecting them closely.
