clutch bleeder valve adjustment

Ok, my clutch pedal sticks to the floor and slowly comes back up. My slave cylinder resovior for the clutch is bone empty, but b4 i stick fluid in it, i need to find out where the bleeder valve is AND how to bleed it so it'll work right.

I bought some DOT 3 brake fluid to stick in the slave resovior (clutch/brake fluid is all the same right? as long as its the same DOT)
but some people say the bleeder valve for a 97 GST is under the tranny or drivetrain, other people say its right off the resovior connected to another fluid tank next to the resovior.

Anyone know how to bleed the slave cylinder so i can get my clutch working again please post up or PM me. AIM me also if u want

Under the car connected to the bottom side of the tranny you will find the slave cylinder. It has a rubber boot and then a metal rod coming out of the end; it is pointed towards the passenger side. There may be a rubber cover over the bleeder valve. You will need a 10mm wrench. Have someone pump the clutch, and hold it down. When it is down- open the bleeder valve. Close the valve and repeat this until you see a steady stream of fluid coming out of the valve. Don't let the reservoir go dry or you will have to start over.:thumbdown

Or.....you could go spend ten bucks on a Haynes manual.
