Sharing my joy. 1st 1/4mile runs with the 1G!

I was sooo amazed at how the 1g performed concidering what mods I had and being untuned. Check it out:

the car: 1990 GSX
mbc, intake, cutout before cat, act26000 and walbro 255

At street boost (16psi) I managed to hit:
60': 1.79 (!)
1/8: 8.909
1/4: 13.99 @95.66mph

That was the first time I did and felt a 1.7 launch and I actually scared myslef . Lost a bit of controll cuz it surprised me! On my last run, I figured since im running 100octane to see what I could do at 20psi. Unfortunatly I granny shifted into 2nd because it was a bit hard getting in:

At 20psi I got:
60': 1.81
1/8: 8.918
1/4: 13.95 @96.54mph

Im pretty sure if I had a few more tries I would have went home with a 13.8 timeslip. I'm sure for some of you guys thats nothing, but I'm pretty happy as to how I did for the first time in the 1G at the track Now to plug in the injectors and an afc. Maybe I can tune it to a 13.0

I had a 95 gst just like you then went to a 1g awd. God i love my first gen. I went to the track with basic bolt-ons, as seen in my other thread and ran a 13.7 with a 1.89 60ft i think.
