My Best so far for my 95 2G is [email protected] w/a 2.1 60'ft.
<((420 treadwear General street tires @20psi) I was only running 14psi (safe) with a little creep to 15psi I noticed. Timing advanced and held steady to 20 deg @ 6800 2nd gear, 15 deg 3rd @5800. (It was nice and cool outside)

I can't seem to get below a 2.160 and I think a DIFF or drag radials is in order to acheive that. Is an 8.5@85-87 realistic? I'm installing a fuel pump this weekend so I can turn the boost up to say 19psi or till I find the end of the 450''s. B

Mods
Headlight out/ram air port
FP BIg28 ported
GM MAF (blowthru)
1G TB/ 1GBOV
supra SMIC
fuel pump rewire
ALL other BPU's see profile

Thats not too bad of a time at all especially at only 14 PSI. It looks like you're on the right track with the tuning too.:thumb:

Thanks!. i'm very impressed with the B28 on my car. I'm wandering what that sort of time will equate to in the 1/4 ? low13-high12's ? I'm thinking more fuel & psi is all I need w this Turbo at this point to get there. (my tune is good ;) I'm hell bent on hitting low 12's @110 or something close and shutting up some of the Big28 (small turbo) haters around here. ALso It seems like i've seen faster 1/8mi ET's speed on 1/4 mile time slips that what people actually turn at an 1/8 track. follow me? Whats that about?... seems like the 1/8th is measured short on some 1/4's

The tracks that I have been to for both the 1/8 and 1/4 seem to be around the same mph wise. Last time I went to the track, I cut an awesome  2.7 60ft on street tires bogging out of the hole and went 9.6@86 knocking really bad (to rich) @18psi on pumpgas. I think I was around 80mph as well on my big28, but I never had it long enough to see what it was really capable of. Nice 60's

9.1 is great with your mods!!! but nowhere near low 13's.. more along the lines of 14 flat.. which is still about a second faster than stock!!!!!

use this to calculate 1/4 mile time from 1/8 mile time for cars from 8.xx seconds to 17 secs 1/4 mile runs..

(1/8 time / 2) + (1/8 mile time) + 0.5

the .5 added on can change a little depending on if the car is FWD, RWD, or AWD for obvious reasons..

awd would have a little more than 5 added on cuz they rip off the line and get great 1/8 times, but dont pull as hard up top

rwd would be about .5

fwd would be .5 or a little less

all depending on power of course!

Thanks... (preactice practice) 14 FLAT?! I don't think so... I was running a 14.3@96 2.1 60 on the T25 stock IC/DP with this car. but I guess i'll find out as soon as I go run the quarter again. ANd as far as that calculation goes ..! ET's have way to much to do w 60ft times to be handicapping a FWD. I'm still fuel/boost limited but I expect a solid/safe 13.5 out of this set up ..really..my car's a known freak. I think it may be a mistake to try to quantify anything w rough calculations so i'll report in once I make a few passes at the 1/4. Wish me luck.. I'll keep grooming those 60ft. times and get some more fuel in there. ;)

hey im just statin my formula that has worked on just about every car ive seen ::shrug::

FWD generally have shitty 60ft times.. i have a FWD with a 20g, i would know..

I think you'll run a 13.6-13.8 with that same 60' which is still really good with your setup. A 14.3 to 13.6 would be a great improvement.
