Took my 1997 GST to the local 1/8 track on saturday night. Temps were around 90 degrees but i got a new best run in. This is on 16psi with the bigt28 from Forced Performance. Completely stock fuel system and stock side mount.

60' ... 2.149
330' ... 5.918
1/8 ... 8.912
MPH ... 84.70

From what I have seen, if I would have been in the 1/4 it would have been around a 13.4 or 13.5 second run at around 106mph.

I finally brought the 60 foot times down alot. I was getting 2.4s and 2.5s before.

I was kinda dissappointed that i didnt get an 8.8. But hey I am only .02 away. The next time I run will be on drag slicks so I am looking for 1.8 60 foots atleast. Who knows what i will run but my Mph should be good for very high 12s i would think. With a good strong launch.

Cant wait to get 550 injectors to run 22psi, a fmic, and some slicks!!

Nice times. If you run slicks, a 106 mph was good enough for a 12.69 on my car. That was on a 1.71 60', but with a good 60', you should be seeing some 12 second quarters. :)

Yeah i sure hope so.
I bought slicks yesterday on 15" wheels.

they are 24.5 x8s. M&H tires.

Hopefully i will get a 12, but you never know. its probably going to depend on the weather and if my clutch gives up on me or not. The clutch is almost gone!

But if everything is good then that would be some crazy stuff. Running 12s with my first time on slicks.

THanks, i forgot to reply about my trip to the 1/4 track. THe event was canceled due to rain. I got there, put the slicks on and then the rain came down.

I ran at the local 1/8 track the other day, got about 3 runs in. Pulled a...

8.83 at 84.7
w/ 2.11 60 foot.

After the second run my fuse box bracket dug down into my upper hose coupling causing a major boost leak.
I ran with the boost leak and got a..

8.91 at 80mph w/ 2.000 60 foot.

The slicks are alot harder to drive on that i thought they would be but well worth it.
Heading back to the track this weekend and will hopefully set a new personal best time.

Nope, not at all. I do not have a logger or anything to monitor it. But the car is dyno tuned to 12:1 a/f.
93 octane. A logger is on my list for future mods as long as bigger injectors and a FMIC. So dont bash me about the setup :D.

Also, I fixed the fuse box cover problem. It will no longer cutt into my pipe couplings because I Relocated it to where the battery once was. Check gallery for pics.
