My previous best was 11.9 at 119mph but I was in no danger of breaking that due to the fact that my ETE32 had died (ate its thrust surface...go figure..) and I was now running my spare 14b!...The funny part is the amount of fab work I had to do to get what is the factory turbo back on the car?
First run of the day...pumped out the 93 and in goes 3 gallons of last years C16...The cyclone manifold is Zip-tied to the long "high tourque" runners only..

MPH 83.15
1/4 12.943
MPH 104.54
That's right folks...a 12.9 right out of the box!...Boost wise I was spiking to 20 then falling back to 16psi and I went through the traps with only 14psi. I check my datalogger and I'm getting a touch of knock but at the top of 3rd and 4th I'm getting 28 degrees of timing advance and 0 knock...
the second run I pull a little bit of fuel out but I missed the 3-4 shift which killed the MPH
60' 1.782
1/8 8.121
MPH 85.84
1/4 12.880
MPH 101.31
The third run the only thing I changed was I zip-tied the cyclone to the high-flow "both" runners position..It looks like I gained about 2mph on the top end switching the runner position..

1/8 8.157
MPH 85.00
1/4 12.804
MPH 106.04
Not much more to tell other than I kept turning up the boost and leaning the car out without much improvment. At the end I was able to spike to 24psi and hold 20-22psi through the traps..Here is my best run of the day...also not a new personal best 60' time
60' 1.682 <--- NEW BEST!

MPH 85.97
1/4 12.622
MPH 107.4
The last time I ran this turbo the best I could get out of it was 13.4 at like 102mph..The really cool thing is that I ran this car hard all day without any knock issues..I leaned it out till it just started to knock then added a touch of fuel back in..then it was knock free with 30 degrees of advance all day...and yes I said 30 degress of advance and that's with the base set at 10 BTDC! I just love the Spearco 216 core...did I mention I did this all without my water injection working?
To finish up the day I pumped out the C16 and put the 93 back in for some "street" numbers..Boost was still 20-22psi, knock counts where 0-15 and I was getting 20-25 degrees of advance..

Not to shabby for a 14b...definatly a 12 second daily driver...I think I'm going to drive this 14b for a while to see what I think about it. I love the fact that in 4th gear I can get 4-6lbs of boost at 1700rpms! Now that's a quick spooling turbo. I want to autocross it and from there I'll decide where to go with my next turbo..I must admit I am thinking really hard about getting a 16g...
