I need slicks! Need info...

Alright
I recently went to the track and I am FWD. Couldnt pull anything better than 2.3 60 foot times.
OUCH!!!!

Basically I am going to buy some slicks and i need size info and wheel info.

First of all...
What is the smallest diameter of wheel that will fit on my gst?
I am thinking that i need the smallest diameter wheel and the widest possible.

Now with tires...
I do not know anything about the sizes of slicks. But i took a look at some of the FWD guys slicks at the track and the all seemed to be 24x8.5 or something.
I am assuming that is 24" wide?
How wide of a wheel would be required for the 24s?

Any help is appreciated. Not really an expert on slicks but i need to learn so i can purchase some.

That's probably 24" outside diameter x 8.5" wide. Damn, 24" wide. Those babies would stick out into the next lane.

I needf slicks as well and i think im goin to go with either 22 or 24 inch tall, and just 8 wide!!on either a 14 inch rim or 15 not sure yet

Will 14" wheels fit on the front?
I think the gst come with like 10" rotors up there?

i saw a 1g guy run a 1.6 online. he was using 22x8 slicks. that will be my choice. then add some greendot retreads for daily driving.
