Hi everybody, i hear people talk about how easy launching a AWD drive is all day. But when i revv to 4k and dump it my car just boggs out? should i revv it higher and dump it? or is a 4k slip equal to a 5k dump?

Launch at 5500rpm and let the clutch out easy don't dump the clutch

well depending on ur suspension setup, ur tires, the temperature, and the traction conditions its all different.... but id say on a good sunny day with standard pavement and no rocks or dirt and standard middle grade tires and a stock suspension setup and a pretty much close to stock engine....rev it to 4500 and hold it there but not for to long just long enough to spool up ur turbo and then when the light turns green do a "quick slip" out of the clutch while giving it more gas at the same rate...when i do this i pretty much nail it and dont really chirp the tires nor do i bog it but it takes alot of practice and the aformentioned factors

The only time I would just side step the clutch is if you are on stock clutch system. When you upgrade you clutch only do the clutch and flywheel. leave the restrictor in.. That will help keep you from breaking gears or hub and sleeves in your transmission.

Stock clutch take it up to 6000 and just dump it.

With a 2600 Take it up to about 5500 and burn the shit out of the clutch. I have a studder box. So I will nail the gas and just get to the friction point and then get off of it slowly.

This is what i've learned after 2 trans.. Also don't shift the balls off your trans unless your racing.

wrong. Your car is bogging out because of boost leaks, timing not correct and general b.s which brings so many people to these sites for info. Did you race the car?? did it run 17s or 18s???

4000 is pretty low.....its easy to bog a launch at 4k, very easy actually especially dumping it, his car is probably running fine
