theres alot of talk about the 14b pulling low 12's and maybe even high 11's on many awd's out there but has anyone tried to max out the 14b's potential on a fwd? I swapped my 14b out for my 16g and there wasnt to much of a difference im thinking about going back to the 14b and seeing what it can do. if anyone has some fwd 14b times id like to see them. id assume the usual higher traps and horrid 60ft's but im just interested thanks

Thats 1g FWD 14b.

I highly doubt that....I believe it's high 12's at 109 or something, all turbo, and then someone turned a mid 12 with N2O....

Doubt all you want, but thats the truth. You can read more about it in the Track section.

do you know what else he was running? a name? a link? im very curious

My buddy Jake (evil eagle) went 12.8 on on his 14b. he had afc, 660cc, starion FMIC, drag radials, and gutted interior. I sure that with more internal work and traction it could have hit mid maybe low 12s. (MAYBE)

My 1g FWD a few weeks ago went

13.6 @ 104, 14b, pumpgas, 17-ish psi, 2.5" mandrel exhaust, Dejon UICP, Dejon 2.5" Intake Pipe, ported exhaust housing with more cracks than one would believe, and that's about it.

Drag radials (old nitto's), stock suspension, stock clutch, etc.

Car was averaging 103-104-105mph the whole night. Full weight too.

It's also for sale. :D

see hes running 104 @ 13.6 and i ran in my laser fwd almost stock 14.9@98 mph must be good for a high 13 or very low 14 pass if i can get some traction???
And i want hit high 12's by the end of the summer!! in a FWD!! Baby!!

i concur...with a lil brains and a lil more self control. FWD isnt so bad. (slicks, LSD, suspension, and motormounts help too)
