Went to Import Wars this weekend at NED and ran my car for the first time at the track.

My best et: 12.863
My best MPH: 110.94

im pretty happy considering my car is not tuned at all. I have an afc and the maf translator, i think the maf makes it a little easier to get the car close though. I dont have a datalogger yet though, so im excited to see what i can do after.

Great time!! Nothing really to analize though...the launch was good. 12.8@106 is pretty decent driving. If your not scared to bang those gears then Im sure a little bit can be picked up according to the mph, but not much. Nice times!
 
tevenor-what do you have a fvcking problem or something. are you pissed because of my other thread about my cars weight. why dont you stfu. 16 creeping to 18 by the end of third, use your fvcking head.

2 gallons c16 mixed with 3 or 4 gallons of 94 (want me to pick one?)

not stock injectors, rc550's

yeah, the mph difference is crazy, i think it's pretty much my driving cause it's my first time at the track and whatever. on the 12.8 pass i did miss the shift to 4th, so that screwed my mph up, but it doesnt really affect ET to much. i did turn up the boost to 21 just for the hell of it, that may have helped my top end.
 
oh, i just looked at youre profile and now i realize why youre so bitter. if i had that many mods and was only that fast id be a dick to people too. L1R BB with a built motor, 720's and a 2950lbs. car running 12.7. DSMtuners Wiseman huh, yeah.

I see nothing in Tevenor's reply that constitutes this type of response. Please cool down a little bit before you go off on someone like that on this site. I haven't seen the last post you mentioned where you and Tevenor met, but the animosity should end here. Tevenor is a good guy, a bit rough around the edges sometimes, but is a big contributor to this site. If you have a problem with the Wisemen or Moderators (Tevenor is both), then please contact me directly and skip the public pissing matches.
 
yeah, i apoligize. i can be rough around the edges too. this comment just pissed me off "Hell, was it 16 or 18? Pick one."

and to answer you question, tevenor, about why i only went 16 psi is because my car isnt tuned at all, i dont even have a datalogger. i didnt want to go nuts with the car the first time out. also it was a two and a half hour drive for me and i wanted to give her a break.

im shooting to get aquamist and get it tuned at pruven on their dyno, then try a run at like 23-24 psi.

Now that is funny shit. No really. You made my day. You have some serious issues if you think your times affect me in the slightest. Don't flatter yourself. You aren't that important and neither am I. Oh and on a sidenote, its 12.7 at 112 ON A STOCK SIDEMOUNT. Throw your stock sidemount back on there big mouth and see what you run. Oh and I recently ran 12.8 at 111 mph on 93 at 19 psi. Feel free to make fun of on that as well. Let me know if there is anything else I should kiss your ass for while I am at it.

Now on to topic: You only gain 21 mph at the top end. Get that creep taken care of and get a consistent tune and I would expect to see around 23-24 mph gain once you turn the boost up. The 1.754 is a very nice short time. Keep that up. My launching sucks, plain and simple. But then again I only drag race twice a year or so.

Also stay away from mixing fuels. I know a lot of people have had good success but as far as tuneability and consistency, mixing octanes doesn't give you the best head start. If you don't want to go all out race gas, try some 100 or 105 unleaded and start turning up the boost.
 
Great times. Try 20+psi and see what happens. I myself have had large diferences in ETs and traps. I've run 13.60@96 and 13.70@100 on the t25 so no biggie. I'm just curious what your 60 foot was on the 110mph trapper.

Yeah, im getting it dyno tuned here in CT soon. According to the horsepower calculator on Taboo's site, i have 301hp at the wheels/ 360 at the flywheel. So i cant wait to get it on a dyno and do some tuning and turn the boost up.
