Went out to the tracks friday night and ran the evil_eagle. Now since they bitched at me last time I was out and gave me my 1 and only warning about running 11's with no cage, I had no choice but to run low boost levels to keep it out of the 11's.
I spent about a good 4 hours dialing her in on the AFC and FPR among other things as well. Anyway, 1st run of the night was on 17lbs of boost, with a crap 60ft. time of a 2.0 I ran a 12.4 @116mph, 2nd pass I made no adjustments and got a better 60ft of a 1.868 and ran a 12.24@116mph.
Towards the end of the night, the temp outside got down to a cold 52 degrees out side, great for the innercooler, crap for traction. 3rd pass of the day I ran a 12.2 @111mph on the brakes hard the last 300ft. of the track, (bracket racing)
So after that run I decided that I was going to dial the car in alittle more on the AFC, so I wanted to turn the boost down and see what I could pull with it leaned out about 8% more then what it was. I had to fight the car to keep it out of the 11's on this run.
15lbs of boost I ran a 12.18@119mph on the brakes the last 100ft!!!
I think if I had the cage and turned her up to 26-30lbs of boost I could have hit mid 11's with no problems and well over 125mph.
Now That I have the car dialed in 90%more then I did when I ran that 11.95 @121mph last week I think the car is going to blitz a mid to low 11.
Just thought I would share this with everyone that it is possiable to run great times with low boost levels. Man I wish I would have had the car tuned in like this when I ran that 11.95 last week. Soon enough though I should have the cage in shortly.
