First Track Times with the Talon

First run:Line up against a 2g TSi AWD, hes wearing a helmet which means he is sub 14's. I launch around 3k (still trying to get a feel for the car). Im ahead of the guy through the 1/8th mile then he shoots pass me like Im standing still. 14.563 @90.68mph

Second run:1g Neon very loud and pretty fast. I launch around 4k rip him out of the hole shift in to third and he slowly pulls on me, and beats me by about 1/2 a car. 14.653 @88.57 (shifted into 4th at very end)

Third run: CRX, not even a race, 4500 launch, pull 1 car length right away and increase my lead down the track. 14.654 @ 89.89

4th run: 6gen Civic 1.6 SOHC Vtec. Launched at 4500 R/T of .503 pull about 2 cars ahead on the launch, then just put him farther and farther back in my rear view, I had about 5-6 car lengths on him. 14.791 @ 89.73

5th run:2003 4Runner SR5, first round of eliminations, he gets a 1.6 second lead, I pull a .497 R/T (red light) Man that sucks, I blow by him after the 1/8th mile and beat him by about 1.6 seconds.

Overall a pretty good day for the first time at the track with the talon, it greatly exceeded my expectations. I was expecting low 15's high 14's.
Light Mods:K&N, Hacked MAF, Hacked Air Can, Rear seats and spare tire removed. Stock boost, exhaust. Faster than all my friends Hondas, that I used to think were fast.

I second that, those are some pretty good times for being a stock car. I managed a 14.73 at 89.85 mph my first time at the track. But yeah, good job.

Thanks guys I ordered a downpipe, 02 sensor housing, boost controller, turbo timer and a new exhaust manifold this week, so Im hoping to be high 13's by June 14th, the next race.
