Just got back from a long ass day from the tracks, anyway, 1st run was just a shake down pass and I shut it down half track. 2nd run I missed 2 gears:mad: (dont ask) 3rd run of the day I neted this

R/T .526
60' 1.836
330' 5.174
1/8 7.866
1/8 mph 94.21
1000' 10.134
1/4 12.030
mph 120.11

This run was done with 26lbs of boost and 110 octane and 800c egt's top of 3rd gear (pig rich!)

4th run was the same as above, with no changes either since I did not have the datalogger on me at the time (playin it safe)
This was done on a stock ecu with the afc 2g maf setup and only 7500rpm rev limit, clutch was slippin real bad in 2nd gear, lit the slicks up in 1st and 2nd, egt's were only sitting at 800c (pig rich)

Mods are in my profile and went to a t3/to4e 50trim stage3 .63ar hot side.
On that run I lit the slicks up bouncing off the rev limiter right out of the hole and netted a 1.836 60ft. And hit the rev limiter in 2nd gear also. GOD I HATE THIS REV LIMITER!!!! LOL
With alittle more tuning and 28-30lbs of boost I should beable to break 11's with no problem. This was done at 3000 ft. of elavation. I will upload a video here soon on dsmgarage.com
Pissed me off cause of the clutch is brand new and it was slipin so bad in 2nd gear, geuss it's time for a 4 or 6 puck disc LOL.

So with a stock head, web street grind cams, stock intake manifold I was pretty impressed but at the same time soooo mad that I could not hit that 11, I think if the clutch was not slipping and it was leaned out alittle more I could have done it. Anyway, over all the car ran great, i will post the video here soon.

Great Numbers :) What does that translate to at sea level? I know we aren't affected as much as NA cars in higher elevation, but it still has an effect. Post up the vid :)

I beleive if I ran it at sea level I could have pulled around 11.70's and around 123-125mph trap speeds.

As far as the video, I've been trying to upload it on dsmgarage.com but I just keep getting a "can not display page" when I click on the ftp server to upload, so it must be down:confused:
Anywhere else I can host this video for free? it's a 37.2mb file.

They just think awd's are all that eheh. I bet your car is a terror on the highway. How much does it weight with you in it?

2850 with me in it and 5 gallons of race fuel LOL.

Very nice. I wish I could that good of a 60ft :) My best is only 2.2 haha on street tires. I need to get a lsd before I put on some slicks. Ennis is a very sticky track and I'll no doubt snap something without one. I'll ask a few more questions if you don't mind. What kind of timing are you getting? Any idea of a/f ratio? And lastly, how are you settings on the shocks? I personally have 450/275 gc's with koni yellow's. I am thinking full stiff in the rear and halfway in the front. Not sure what do do about my tire pressure. I'm hoping to trap around 118 on racegas and 24psi.

Beleive it or not but I still have not put the agx's in yet LOL, have no time to do anything anymore with work and my family, so I just have the stock shocks with intrax springs.

As far as my timing I dunno what I was getting on that run since I did not have the logger at the time, but before I took it out I tuned it the night before and was getting 20-22 degrees from 5000 rpm to 7500 rpm @ WOT. Injector cycle duty was up there alittle bit, but that will be fixed with the new 900cc's this next month or so.

Last time on the wide band I was getting 10.9-11.2 A/F ratio, yes I know pig ass rich. LOL.

Man If I could have hooked up I think I could have hit around 123-125 mph traps, but I was spining the slicks through 1st and 2nd and right at the begining of 3rd gear, and I run a fwd spool (positive track) and it sucks ass for turning wise, but for traction it's great!! Well, not with this setup anyway LOL.
-Jake

Is your car a street car? I cant imagine a FWD car with a spool!

Well, I would show you guys the video of this run, but dsm garage's ftp server must be down, and I cant find anyone to host this video.

Painmaster you wanna host a vid for me? LOL You guys gotta see the vid, it's crazy through 1st and 2nd gear.

Jake, what are you doing to hold more boost with the profec b? What size spring are you using? Maybe that is my problem. With the high boost around 2 o'clock, I'm seeing around 1.4 bar and it doesn't seem to go up that much as I turn it clockwise.

Thanks,
Chris

LOL, I have all the nobs on full max LOL, I couldnt get anymore then that, plus I was runining open downpipe, so that gave me like almost 2 more lbs of boost, I'm thinking about puting some bleaders in the lines to try and get 30lbs out of it, we will see. I will let you know if I can get it to hold 30. I have the standard 35mm tial wastegate with the .8bar spring, so the profec doubles that and brought it up to 24, then disconnecting the down pipe I got 2 more lbs and brought it up to 26.
-Jake

I have the .8bar spring as well, but a 40mm Tial. Any luck on a hoster for the vid? I'm guessing the big negatory :(

See your lucky, you can get a higher spring rate in that 40mm, I have the standard 35mm so i can not upgrade the spring, so my advice for you is to buy the next step up for a spring for that 40mm.

See the profec doubles to wastegate spring pressure, mine is .8bar witch in term it's about 12.5lbs of boost, so double that and you get about 24-25lbs of boost.

On the video no I have not had any luck getting anyone to host it for me:( Still trying though.
-Jake

Yeah, thats what I thought about doing. I have messed around though when I first installed the profec and If I rig it a different way, I can get alot more of 25lbs of boost and the wastegate doesn't even open haha. Anyhow, offtopic, but have you noticed whenever you post a comment, it seems to take forever and a day to actually post once you click on submit? I have a cable modem and I know its not my connection as other sites are working as normal ..nice and fast. Anyhow, Nice Vid...I bet that guy you were racing was like Freaking out. How is the racing scene there in Boise?

LOL haha, yup FWD here, allways have been, I love the challenge, plus I think it's alot more fun at the tracks with a fwd.

As far as the 95 gst that I was racing, it too was fwd, street low profile tires though, he is my vice president of my team, I built that one up for him also. Here are the mods done to the red gst

big 16g
3" turbo back
o2 dump housing
DSS upper innercooler pipe with 1g bov
wallbro 255
DSS MBC
1g cam angle sensor
8.5mm magnacore wires
and some tricks I have done.
3000ft elavation.

On that run in the video he was running 17lbs of boost, not even knowing it till the end of the day when we got back to the shop he had a vacum line pop off on him, so we don't know if it was like that while he ran it at the tracks or not, but he went 110mph, not too bad for what I have done to his car. As far as the import scene here in boise, YES it's getting huge!! Funny thing is, DSM's around here dominate every import here LOL. So the fastest fwd here would be me so far, there was how ever a guy that ran a local import shop here but moved recently this past year out of state, he had a 94 civic hatchback that ran 11.74@124mph. He allso had about $20,000 put into it. But since he has moved, I steped into his spot for being the fastest FWD here. There supposovely going to be some fast AWD's here, but we will see, alot of people talk here LOL.

Hey Jake, it's good to see you back around again. I used to host some pics for you back in the day, and I remember what you had done on that mighty 14b :D

Anyway, congrats on the new times, looks like you're doing well again with that car. What's your current setup like?

Got my mods in my profile, and got some pics in my profile aslo, check em out man, how you been???

Not bad, on to AWD now with a different setup. Your profile says 60 trim, but you're running a 50 trim in the races?

First, good times. And it's pretty cool because there is so much more racing to be had this year for even more improvment. Congrats!
Second, I hit the exact same 60 a week ago also. I am also running a spool and slicks this year.

And yes it bites big balls trying to turn with a spool and a manual rack!

well I 1st ordered a 50 trim, but got the 60, my main goal was to go as far as I could with the 50 trim, besides the 60 trim was too laggy for my taste, plus it's only 20 hp more then the 50 trim. So anyway, I'm runing a 50 trim now. And next season will be a full t4 setup.
50 trim spools alot better, plus from people that I have talked to and have read about, the 50 trim stage 3 wheel in a .63 ar housing seems to be a great combo, most people even say they have had better luck with the 50 trim then the 60.

And so far I like the 50 trim 100% better then I did the 60 trim, much more responsive and alot more mid range power then the 60, I think the only noticable difference in gains with the 60 was maybe alittle more top end, but to an avarage person you could'nt even tell the top end power difference. So by far the 50 trim has proven very well with my setup I have now.
-Jake

Damn good to hear, I'm glad to see you're back in action, I think it's been a little too long since we've seen the Evil Eagle :D
