ok guys heres the deal, today was my first run i even made with my car at the track. now i have read lots of things to see that type of time i should get with my car and well i at least thought i could at least get a 15.3 with my car being almost stock but this is what happin

1st run
r/t - 1.217
60' - 2.703
1/8 - 10.446
mph - 70.18
1000 - 13.445
1/4 - 15.969
mph - 90.31

2nd run
r/t - .827
60' - 2.581
330 - 6.866
1/8 - 10.357
mph - 70.93
1000 - 13.391
1/4 - 15.938
mph - 88.73

now i know that is some bad times thats for sure but i have no idea y they are so bad. so what do u guys think could have happin or what the hell is wrong with my car

my 2nd race i raced a 3000gt vr4 that got a [email protected] OMG

well u definately need to work on that 60'... what suspension are you runnin? what tires?

dont worry man, even with nitrous (dont know if u used it on those passes) the T25 wont bring hella good times. Just work on that 60' and turn up the boost.

yeah the 60' is everything in a fwd car. My best is a 14.5 with a 2.4 60', and last time at the track i ran a 15.7 with a 2.9 60' ...felt like the track was an ice rink. Just work on being calm and slipping the clutch. I still suck at launching and everyone says it takes practice...besides it was just your first time, and stock too.

Well i went to the track on the weekend and had not to great luck other than reaction time which was .550 my 60 FT time was a 1.904
and 1/4 time was a 14.9 on stock everything!

but the guys are right 60" is everything in a FWD shoot for under 2.000 and that 1/4 will come down a little bit!

Good Luck:thumb:

a 1.9 60' really isnt too outatnding if u are AWD (which im assuming)..AWD's can hit 1.6-1.8 with a good driver (1.6 being insane). But on fwd if u want sub 2.0 times ur gonna need slicks and maybe a LSD...im shotting for 2.1-2.2 on drag radials. It just takes practice i guess. Just keep reminding yourself that on the highway, ud rape that awd who ran .3 sec better than you, but 10 mph slower.. I would say the averge 60' time is a 2.3-2.4 on regular street tires. good luck! FWD is a task, thats for sure.

you should be able to pull off high 2.2's with good tires. on the stock suspension, 2.25 is my best. takes lots of self control to launch a FWD

Hey, just thought I'd add that when my car was auto with the T-25, I ran a best 60' of 2.111 (consistantly) with 215 40 17 nitto 450 radials. It can be done with regular street tires, although slicks or drag radials are a good idea. I would stall it until around 11-12 lbs, any more and it would spin, any less and turbo lag. I would watch my boost guage and not RPM's. The T-25 will spool to full boost while standing still so pay attention to it cause too much and you will spin like crazy. Hope that helps.
