I didn't think it was possible at my local track's altitude (3000ft), but Saturday night I was able to muster an 11.86 @ 118, w/ 1.66 60' in my 91 AWD with the stock 112k mile long block. The pass was made with 24psi and strait C-16. The car still has the 1g exhaust manifold. I don't know how much more my 3 bolt rear can take. I am sure there are faster "stockers" out there, but this was the cars 4th trip to the track and I havent even touched the GCC yet.:talon:

What does that correct to at sea level?

Oh and congrats. :thumb:

My stocker went [email protected] at 23 psi on a 20g, Before i sold it I ran 28 PSI on a 60-1 on the stock block on unocal 110 every day for 2 weeks....car smoked through 2nd gear...Mistakes blow motors, not power, IMHO

Or maybe we don't know what the hell 11.86 @ 118 @3000' is equal too for the rest of the world! :p

Sometimes I wish Texas wasn't such a huge ass state. I'd like to meet up with everyone, but there really sin't a such thing as a central location for everyone. Maybe something a little closer to Houston and the Dallas guys could come down and the Austin Guys could drive up, and everyone within a 300 mile radius should come. Damn that would be a lot of DSMs. I'm down, but I'm not a host for that kind of stuff. I'm a suggester.
You poor people out in Midland and Odessa are all by yourselves. But at least I-20 is close by.

I recently weighed the car, I was surprised to find that it scaled in at a heafty 3280#s w/me and 1/2 a tank of fuel. I will soon start my mission of removing about 400#s from it.

How on earth does your 3-bolt axles survive 1.66 sixty foot times?? I broke two of them before I even got under 2.0!! I didn't think they'd ever get you to the 11's! I hope you carry spares with you! :thumb:

I also thought it would have broken by now, but I have made two 11sec passes and about 10 low 12 sec passes. My tires are shorter than stock (215/35/ZR18) so it's like having more gear ratio, makes the car 60ft harder and is easier on the tranny. Also I am still running the stock springs, so when the car squats the rear camber goes way off and the rear tires spin on the inside edge. This combined with the 50lb. of tire pressure I run, are keeping the 3 bolt axles alive.
I have no spares, but when it does let go I will put a 4 bolt rear in it.
