first time at the track..

I made it out to the track today for the first time.. Best run i had was a 13.03 at 104.1mph. I am running a 14b turbo stock 2g head 6 bolt built block with venolia pistons eagle rods acl race bearings. The car is a 95 talon tsi awd i was running about 17 psi with a 11.4 afr on 91 octane fuel with 550 injectors.. So does this seem pretty good for a 14b or what should my next mod be.. bigger turbo,cams etc?
 
i was only on a maft translator because my ecu didnt come in time.. i had my1gtunning service burn me a chip... He has no lift to shift, my injector dead times dialed in re did the timing and fuel maps, 5 step launch control, eliminating phantom knock, shooting for a 11.5 afr on 91 octane, stock boost gauge as knock gauge and a couple of other things... I think with that chip i would of seen alot better times but im a couple days to late but it will be here tomorow.. Do you think a set of cams would help up top because it seems that the 14b peters out at about 6k is this normal?
 
Very nice time! What kind of 60' did you get on that pass?

As for future mods, throw some race fuel in there and go run some mid to low 12's with a little more boost and timing. Or hit 12's on your pump gas swill with that chip installed. Stay away from cams at your level with the 14b, they won't help up top, keep your shifts at or below 6500 on the 14b as it will run out of air after that.
 
I was gonna mix 2 gallons of 110 race fuel with the 4 gallons i had in the car but everyone talked me out of it saying that race fuel burns hot thus causing more knock... Didnt really think it thru i guess i should of. The car launched amazing and pulled good through second just when i hit third it didnt wanna pull me to the end. I was very consistent out of 7 passes i varied from a 13.03 being my best to a 13.53 being my worst. I was playing around with tire pressure differnt launch styles and differnt shift points... Actually the 13.03 was my very first pass... Pulled to the line held the ebrake reved it to about 4-5k as the tree started counting down i slowly started letting the clutch out loading the motor up then right as the yellow light would go off id release the ebrake and drop the clutch and it shot out like a rocket.. Lsd helped of course.. I was very suprised with no base timing set yet and just a maft translator... I think my future times suffered as the motor got warmer and I broke a motor mount apart. The one next to the timing gears. Now i wish i would of added a couple gallons of race fuel damn!!!!

My 60' pass was 1.569
