The cdub camp had a great weekend. We were the first to break 170mph barrier in an automatic awd dsm with 8.8@171 with my brothers black 1g. Unfortantly on that pass the head gasket starting leaking. We were able to keep topping on the water and taking it easy on the car to make it to the semis where the hg finally let go totally.

We also got third in dst with my wife's hta68 1g.

Thanks to Jeff bush and David buschar. Both guys hooked us up with parts to keep us racing thru out the weekend.

It was a Boostin Performance final in the quick 16.. Devin pulled out a win over his buddies black evo running an 8.6x.. Tim Z ran a 9.9x first round of qualifying and lifted the head so his weekend ended pretty early.. Good weekend though.. Kind of disappointed in the amount of bye runs this year though..

Yea we did our best to get Tims car repaired and ready for race day as he qualified 2nd with a 9.90 in DSE lifting the cylinder head all the way down the track . We had the whole top half of the motor torn down in the American Inn hotel parking lot replacing the head gasket , but due to over streched head studs on assembly of the new head gasket we called it at 4:30 AM and save the motor for next year. Nothing was hurt on the car just needs a new cylinder head casting and new head studs as head on his car shifted alot. Good times cant wait to do it all again next year! :thumb:

That track is ruthless! The reason for all the bye runs was because people kept breaking. Either way it was an awesome weekend and I applaud everyone who came out and ran their car. Except bracket.... for the love of God, too many.

No shit. I was seriously starting to get pissed off at all the bye runs from broken cars. They should've just knocked out the guys who didn't show up then go ahead and pair the cars which were there. Would've made the day go faster and gave the TT guys some more passes; all they did was prolong the inevitable pairings anyway.

Breakdown eliminated something like 6 of the top 16 cars for the Quick class....brought a bunch of alternates up!

Was it L19's studs that stretched?
