After quite some time waiting, I finally got a chance to run with all that I've done....my first run of the day(it was like the 3rd race of the day) I managed a 13.6@106 with a crappy 60' of 2.55. well my last 8 runs were at a average 0f 14.77@98-101:cry: , with 60' times between 2.3-2.7....I tried everything I could think of. inflating, deflating, dumping the clutch, feathering the clutch. I also tried launching at rpms anywhere from 2-5k ...wtf is goin on here? I'm running the same I was stock, but almost 10 mi faster. I should be happy with a 13.6 run, but honestly, I'm not:(. My car is faster than that. I know it is.....so what should I do:confused: Now that I'm here, I need to ask about slicks/radials.....I heard that if I run with them without a LSD, that I'll tear the clutch up.....

I knew I should got a GSX.:thumb:

If you are running the wheels on your car that are in the sig pic and they are not light, they look to be 17's at least. You are losing time in the 60 trying to get them moving, also the smaller sidewall sucks for dragging. Try throwing your stockers on next time you go. I usually pull low 2.3 60's which still suck but hey I've been to the track 3 times in the 2 years I've had my car. I just feather the clutch from like 4k, I just pull away from the light like I would from a stop light and my clutch hates me for it. Good luck I just recommend not dropping the clutch theres no reason to launch like that.

FWD is tough to hook up. You're not going any faster because you're smoking the tires even harder off the line. Wheel spin is fun, looks intimidating and cool, but it's slower than sh!t. Look for better tires, LSD, removing weight from behind the rear axle, and feather the throttle to keep the tires hooked up and pulling. Welcome to FWD!
