Welll other than my speed sensor taking a dump this was one of my most fun days at the track. I was able to borrow the QTP's from a local shop (ForcePower Motorsports). Let me tell you, after useing them I want a set. Made the launches even more smoother while driveing the car harder (is that makes sence LOL)
I made 5 clean passes with not one of them being slower than 11.6
First pass was 11.52 @ 127.50mph
Second pass was the most fun, skated the whole first gear. 11.37 @ 127.5 MPH
Third and fastest pass 1.60 60ft 11.24 @ 125mph
Fourth pass 11.38 @ 124.8 mph
Fifth pass 11.40 @ 124.6 MPH

I will put together a video in the next couple of days. Till then thanks Mark for coming out and working on the car. ForcePower ROCKS!!!:rocks::hellyeah:

That's fast! Do you have a list of all of your mods? I read through your other thread, and i am from Canada and plan on running a 16g next summer. I wont be trying to catch your times though that's for sure haha

Blistering runs:thumb:
Nice driving for sure! 1.60 is a nice rip out of the hole!

I still want more info on the set-up, 127 mph is insane! I did read you're running about 28 psi which is up there. I know your shop thinks it's the driving that produces that trap speed. In part, no doubt. I disagree to a point though, it's the power for the most part.

The 11.2, the 1.60, that's all you! Congrats!:thumb:

Your right the car is making great top end power, it holds boost great and the tune is quite aggresive at the top end.

My point about the driving is Nate is using the power to it's max by getting into the right gear at the right time.

Without a doubt. I totally agree. They(him and the talon) are a sick combination for sure.:thumb:

How long do you think the 16g will last at those boost levels?

Nates time is great no doubt, but he actually just got squeezed out of the top spot by a fellow Canadian yesterday. A buddy of mine ran an [email protected] in his 1G auto yesterday. I will be going over to his place to get the timeslip, as we all know claims without a slip dont mean $hit.

Nate, 127.5mph is flying man! Keep up the good work!

It's been on there for two years now and still running strong, we have other customers that have been running them much longer with no real issues. Great little turbo's.

That's cool if it actually happened, I hope Nate inspired him to go out and run it.
No offense against the auto guy's, but an auto on the same set-up should run faster than a 5 spd. Get him to start his OWN thread, so that we can get some more info on it.

Yes, it actually happened! :sneaky: Yes, Nate was our inspiration, just as Reza was his :thumb:

And for your next comment....looks like I've been giving you too much credit.....an auto will NEVER be FASTER then a 5-spd with the same set-up, only QUICKER! You lose more power thru the auto so it will never trap as FAST as the 5-spd :ohdamn:

I give credit where credit is due, you can ask Nate himself, I have publicly and privately congradulated him also gave him a few pointers to go even quicker. Its sad to see when someone else aside from your lil group achieves something that you think it never happened and its all a ploy to bring you guys down. For the record Helder isnt even part of the 'ORG'

Here we go again, I wasn't even thinking about trap speeds when I made My comment, but we know how important they are to you, you never stop harping on them.

Read my earlier post: "That's cool if it actually happened".

Full credit will be given when the proof is posted in his OWN thread. I will be the first to congratulate Helder when this happens. I think it's cool that guys feed off of each other to go faster and faster.

KEVIN, you and your buddies have spent the last week trying to tear Nate a new hole all over your own forum, why don't you keep it there where it belongs. Please don't turn this thread into the same BS as your forum.

Sorry Nate, to highjack your thread. Just wish they would create there own thread.

Ask Nate if I was involved in last weeks BS in anyway, so don't assume I was trying to tear him a new one along with the others. If you ask Nate, he may even say I was supportive!

We just find it funny of how highly you guys think of yourselves. Here's a quote of yours...... " We're the Biggest, Fastest, Most Bad-ass, Most Involved, Most Decorated...Extreme Race Team for DSMs in this Country!!!!!!!!! Period. " I'm sure all my fast friends in Quebec would dissagree with that.

But I guess it hurts your pride that we can slapped an evo3 16G on Helder's car saturday night, do a bit of tuning and head to the track the very next day, and on the very first pass he runs an 11.3@120 beating Nates previous record on his very first pass. And then the [email protected] must have been the nail in coffin. I guess what really bothers you guys is that we did this on a stock block with pump gas/meth.

Sorry Nate, not trying to take anything away from your accomplishments, we'd just like to see your sponsor get off of his high-horse and back to reality.

First off Kevin, your talking to me (Mark, not Pat).

Secondly, this is (or was) Nates thread, Not ForcePower's thread. We only support him, like all our customers.

Lastly, it doesn't bother me one little bit what you or your buddies do or don't do, your the ones that think it seems to bother us. I have not even been on DSM Canada for about a year now. I believe you have it mixed up, you should get off your high-horse. You and your buddies seem to make it your mission to knock anything we or our customers do. The way that Nates thread went on your forum last week, only reinforces that. We, "ForcePower" never even posted in it, but it quickly went to hell and back, just because Nate thanked who supports him. Through association his accomplishments have been ridiculed, good job he's thick skinned and takes little to no notice.

Like I said (a few times now) start your own thread, so that Helder's accomplishment can be properly recognized and discussed with others.

We have had a few decent discussions in the past, even though we don't agree on much. This is the only reason that I am responding to you, I won't bother or waste my time responding to your buddies, as they make no sense and are full of hate and anger.

At the end of the day it would have been better to share your "accomplishments" in another thread. Not like i went into an old thread of anyones to promote myself... Rather low if you ask me. If your beef isnt with me then DONT INVOlVE ME IN IT!!!!

You know Mark, its funny though, because if anyone actually goes onto the Forcepower forums, you will actually see nothing but bashing of ca.dsm.org, where as you claim its the other way around ?

Timeslip is posted above, and I will post 10 more tonight on ca.dsm.org and a few videos.

You claim on your website that we are photoshopping these.

How the hell do we photoshop 11 timeslips and a few vidoes.

I've never seen anyone in the DSM world, act soo badass and claim photoshop when you get beat.

Didn't you guys claim I photoshopped my 11.7 video and 11.6 timeslips back in 2007 ?

Really are you guys that ignorant ? :ohdamn:

16gs are great starter turbos and really wake up past 20 psi. Slicks make a huge diffrence in ETs. Congrats on the car staying together. What were you launching at rpm wise? What fuel were you using?

Wow, you guys have issues. Congrats to both on the great times. For any of you who are truly sitting up on your high horse, get down, there are faster evoIII 16g cars out there anyways. That is not to take anything away from the great times that are being put down here, but to remind you that you can and will go faster and there is no reason to think of yourself as the greatest currently. Seems to me the actual two guys driving the cars aren't involved here, so congrats again.

Wow, you guys have issues.

Yep, they do.......I'd say a heads-up race is in order here, my opinion of course and I'm not speaking for anyone else. But, if I got attacked like this on my thread, I'd sure offer to start shutting mouths, and with a bunch of inconsistent runs like the above listed, they'd be shut. Nobody "got beat." Someone ran a quicker ET, that's it. Posts in bad taste unfortunately cause me to post in bad taste, I don't mind lowering myself to that level for a minute to make a point though.
