Knocking on the 9 sec door!

Went out after re-freshing the trans thanks to our tech Dave Womer

Didn't break anything in it but the roll pins decided to start coming out and there was a little wear/tear on some of the gears/synchros so we replaced a few parts.

Ran a personal best but still no 9 sec slip for me..........yet !

- Shearer 35r (non-hta) 37psi of boost

From my knowledge you don't need a chute until you trap 125+ in the 1/8 or 150+ in the 1/4.

I say suck it up, spend the 600/400 and go HTA mid 9s ftw. Sean was talking about the winter blend of E85 being in the pumps out there already, next season it'd be nice to see that thing on pump hitting the track. runnin 9s.

So sorry i didn't get a chance to post up or call ya it seems i have enough interest from people that wana see it go 9's i keep forgetting to make posts as i'm always rushing to pak up and get the race checklist done while loading the car

I think a new turbo will be in order for next season but i wana go 9's as is if possible.

So are you going out this Sat?

I'm on the fence about changing the time in my sig. Going 10.77 @ 134.6mph is haulin, and it's definately a blast to drive a car that fast, but it's not a record.

His 14b time might be getting closer to that 35R time in the future, then the 35R time can come off the sig! Kidding, both is way cool.

Yep, TAG, Dave's it!!!

True there are alot of cool drag Evo's out there. But, my '04 RS was white, and since way back in the mid 90's I have been a fan of dark wheels. Your car looks just super mean to me. I had my stock talon wheels coated gray in '97 and everyone used to rank on me and say it looked like I was riding on spares.......and now it's totally accepted. I had bronze Gram Light 57F on the RS, and then on my electric blue '05 GSR. I traded my RS in for the GSR and I still regret it. I mean my GSR was killer and got alot of props, but, the RS is the essence of EVO to me. I had a bright blue Ford Focus at the time with carbon black 17's and I loved it. The car started to fall apart in many aspects and I sold that and was left with the RS and my Talon, and so I needed more of a daily, so I got the GSR. Mistake, should have thrown a head unit in the RS and never looked back.

Maybe I'll have another one some day. Just picked up a Galant VR4, in white of course for the new daily. It's not an EVO but it has that spirit and will suffice for now.

So, keep pushin for that 9.XX I know it's right there.

Dave and I will shoot for low 11's with the little 14b!
