First time to the track in 5 years.

Ive had this car for 7 years now. Just like alot of dsms we have a love hate relationship. I happy, because this is the first time ive ever had it at the track with this motor.

Car is a g4cs 2.4. Self tuned by me, and theres alot of bugs that the track brings up that you dont notice on the street. I wasnt trying to get a quick et, mainly get it down the track to tune the bugs, and see how it does its first time out. This is on 93 octane pump. No meth/water injection.

1st pass 25psi 12.5 degrees of timing, 11.0 a/fs 12.08@119 with a 1.930 60 foot. 3rd and 4th i could feel it holding back like it was pulling timing. So to play it safe i pulled the timing down to 11.1.

2nd pass 25psi 11.900@119 with a 1.890 60 foot. This time i kept the aem Home screen up and looked for knock in 3rd and 4th gear...none.

So 3rd pass i put the timing to 13.5 turned the boost down to 24psi, 11.77@121.60 with a 1.800 60 foot i came out alittle harder this time, but had to back petal it 3 times to hook. Now i was going in the right direction, but unfortunatly the lanes closed after that.

I was happy, and theres alot more left in it. I have some agxs to put in the back to stiffin it up so it can help out with the spinning, and i have a 3 inch downpipe to replace the 2 1/2 sucker thats been on there for 7 years.

I got lucky on the first one i got, found it in the jyard for 30 bucks. Broke the crank 2 years ago, let it sit, then finally picked up a good block for 150 this time, and had the crank balanced/magnafluxed and polished. First shop insisted on cutting it.

I have a spare g4cs block, no crank, which the new crank in my motor came from, if your looking for a block.

Current setup is:

wiesco/eagle 2.4.

Dogboxracing.com built trans, Powertrain tech Twin disk.

Fully ported head by me, manley springs, fp2 cams. Jmf intake manifold.
pte880cc injectors, -6 fuel line to a from the tank, walbro 255hp rewired.

Ebay front mount core, with custom endtanks setup short route. all 2 1/2 ic piping, Stock BOV with dodge garage mod.

Fully ported 2g manifold by me, tial 38mm hanging off number 1 runner, to4e 60-1 P trim. Tubular o2, 2 1/2 inch downpipe to 3 inch back.

Aem ems tuned by me.

Im hoping i can pick up alittle more MPH on pump gas, maybe some ET also. I have a ON GREEN performance divided t4 manifold waiting. Ive had this same setup for 5 years now (besides the aem, and twin disk) I wanted to see what it can do before i go switching stuff. I have some big plans for the winter. I want a killer STREET/STRIP setup.

Yeah i really didnt care to know what it goes, just knew what i could beat. But things change from the street to the track, and considering that im thinking of changing turbos soon, i figured i should see what i can get out of this before i change stuff because i might be able to get pretty damn far.

The car felt alot better on the last pass, but theres alot more i know. There was no knock, so im gonna try to get the timing around 15 degrees, and see were it goes. Get the 3 inch downpipe on and agxs in the back to keep the squat to a minimum, and try again. After that i really think for now im going to convert the 60-1 to a full t4 with a .84 divided housing (thanks to the help of guys on here) and get the most out of the turbo i possible can.

THEN ill put the big dog i have sitting here on, or decide on one of the other two since im torn
