TSI vs Integra

ok my friend has a 95 integra LS w/ Short ram air intake, plugs/wires, and some %#*&$ muffler, and he talks so much trash about how he's gonna beat me , and i juss bought my 91 tsi awd not to long ago, and its basically all stock, another thing is , he wont go from a dead stop, because he knows he cant beat awd, but he claims he'll take my from 40 up, i really dont think he will, let me know what u guys think

Crank the boost to 16psi and you will own him. Even from 40mph...

That is tougher... Stock Turbo AWD should still take him but this would be much closer and could come down to who is driving better. With 16psi, you should be able to miss a shift and still beat him .

Why wouldn't you crank up the boost? I hate to say it, but stock DSMs suck! Good thing that they are so easy to modify .

Do not risk embarrassing us . Got more boost!

ls - 140 (160 with mods, being very very very generous)

a gsr is rated to run a 15.5 in the 1/4. an ls will not be able to touch u

i know they dont suck, DSM_23 is my best friend, i was juss posting that for the hell of it, there is a bad ass teg in the new HCI magazine, it runs 10.6 and its a street car, its nice

. my friend's mom's car (which he takes out) is an rs. it's 3rd gear almost keeps up with mine. (you should've seen him off the line, 3and a half off the line) but racing at 40 i only got about 1 car length. SO keep up the boost and it'll be cake walk!

I have a 95 integra LS showcar with an AEM intake, header and a tenzo R catback exhaust. My brother has a 92 tsi awd and I think he could easily beat me even when it was stock.

You will kill him. With bolt ons he's probably making 130whp but most importantly 3rd gear sucks. It goes from like 55mph to 95mph. You should tell him to do a roll from 50:laugh:

Well I drive a 95 Integra LS. What a good coincidence right Well anyway with a TSi your gonna beat him. I had a 97 ESi and that couldnt touch my teg. But a TSi definently will.

i had a friend with an rs (same motor as ls but lighter). He ran a 15.5 completely stock! He was beating gsr's and si's. Its great to see good drivers beat better/faster cars

It's VTEC, not v-tech. You should beat him if you've done the free mods...maybe even stock, depending how he drives. I know my integra pulled it's hardest in 3rd. I love my talon, but too many people underestimate the potential of ANY car, especially Hondas.

Its true the Acura/Hondas drive much nicer too. And yes I know my car doesnt have VTECH infact no honda has VTECH my telephone has VTECH but Hondas have VTEC

I dont have respect for street hondas. I have never lost on the street to a honda and dont intend to. I lost to them on the track but thats a different story. I beat a del sol vtec(b16a powered) in a '96 Dodge caravan with the 3.8 liter V6. This was on the way home from the carlise import jam from a red light. Dont flame me because i know there are fast hondas but i still remeber the time i beat a LS teg with a jackson racing supercharger with only free mods and im FWD. Dont let that worthless thing scare you. Ive beaten my neighbors Stock LS with my sisters stock Z24 cavy. Sorry for all the stories and im rambling im shutting up.
