gs-t vs infinity g35

My buddy just got a new Infinity G35 and thinks he can beat my gs-t in the 1320 for sure and maybe on the freeway. I know ill kill him on the freeway but im not sure in the 1/4 mile. Any opinions?

Have you ever run at the track so you have an idea what you are capable of doing, I know what the car is capable of but driver is 99% of the time. The G35 is no slacker.

Theres really no telling unless you know what your car is capable of...
I know those G35's will do a low 14 in the quarter pretty easy. They arent slackers and have good topend to, not enough to take out a well prepped 16g'ed DSM but dont just think youll kill him. If he has a good launch you could be taken out =)

Will you be racing at Palmdale (LACR)? That's at 3,000 elevation which hurts NA cars slightly more than turbo cars. Your setup should be good for low 14's to high 13's if you practice and get race gas. For example, my first run ever was at LACR and it was a 14.9, by the end of the night I did a 13.8

You should be able to take him out if you launch well. Those things are fast out of the box 280hp. My sister is looking at getting one and I'm looking forward to owning her in my GSX.

There was one at the track around here and the best he could manage was a 14.9, with many many 15+ runs. I think you should be able to take him...
