TPG Update Again

We got the car running at PRP tonight after a few electrical headaches and it seemed to pay off. The car ran 10.11 at 135.54 with still no traction in first gear and still on pump gas (Sheetz 93). I'll get pics/videos and more info up soon.

To tell you the truth I don't even know, I just drive the damn car . The 1-2 was lifted cause it spun sideways like hell. The rest were probably no lift.

Almost as impressive as the run is the announcer appreciating an import at PRP. When are you guys going to do the Hotrod Pump Gas Drag event? You wouldn't be the fastest (unless you can run 8's by then) but would probably get a mention in the magazine which would be cool. No nitrous 4 cylinder in the 9's would get respect IMO.

Yeah that was my first impression too, I wish I got the whole talk he did after I ended the video that's posted on YouTube because they said alot more nice words. Maybe we can actually get a decent track prep now when we show up...

The suspension for sure will get to where we need it. It still has street struts and springs which are incredibly too soft. Theres also a decent amount of weight left to be taken off, once we get that done it's game over.

It's definitely wicked up from the 521awhp dyno pull, but I don't know how much the little 3052 has left in it.

Yes, car is on 4 slicks. I doubt that the car will see the dyno again on the 3052. On the last couple passes I never even paid attention to the boost, but I'd assume it's somewhere around 33psi. Car weighs around 2600lbs, but as you all know, it went 10's on pump gas full weight as well. The mod list really isn't too complicated. 2.3, 3052, FP3 cams, Slowboy built head (which they turned around from a head core to a fully built head ready to race in one day---thanks a lot guys!!), Shep trans, and that's about it.

I shift really early cause the turbo doesn't make much power up high. I would LOVE to shift 1st at about 8000 like I normally do, but with it spinning like it is I have to short shift it which kills the 60ft. Third is ~7500 and fourth is ~7200. I come through the traps at around 76-7700. Of course coming through the water box it bangs off the 8500 limiter a few times .
