Went to the track and came home very disappointed. I took out the system and everything to make sure the wieght wouldn't hold me back, but look what happened, my fastest run was 15.4! In my 95' FWD TSi, with mods (look at my signature). Tell me what's up, and what you think the problem is, here's the stats from one of the runs which i ran 15.7:

R/T .941
60' 2.317
330 6.573
1/8 10.131
MPH 70.32
1000 13.166
1/4 15.761
MPH 88.19

Pretty bad ain't it? Is it my driving or am I having some serious car problems. So far as far as performance I have Greedy upper and lower IC piping, Greedy Type-S BOV, 3" Apexi N1 cat-back exhaust w/ 4" tip, and an injen intake. Why am I running like this, I ran slower then stock! I was running on stock rims and tires too.

I would expect to at leist see some faster mph than 88... you should check to make sure that everything is in proper working order.

for a FWD that 60fter isnt bad but can come down a little. Other than that your MPH is freaking low...did you miss any shifts or anything? Something doesnt look right in the later gears. Make sure all your connections are in order. Check for boost leaks.

your reaction time needs a little work. You'll get better at that with practice and could shave 3 or 4 tenths off of your time.

Reaction time has nothing to do with your quarter mile time. Time doesnt start until after you trip the lights. You can sit at the green for an hour and still run the same time as long as you dont move forward at all. As far as your time goes. It seems like your MPH is a little low. Seems that I remember lightly modded cars turning low 90's in the quarter.

I don't know what's up with it. I do seem to be lagging power in higher gears. I hooked up my boost guage the other day, and i'm running 14psi without a boost controller. My car does need to get faster, any suggestions?

As you were saying, you should obviously be pulling better than that in the quarter. I didn't notice if you said if you had an automatic or manual, but even stock the manual should be able to pull a 15 flat and with an auto mid to high 15s. With a 10.1 1/8th mile you should be pulling low 15s, so something seems to be happening after 2nd gear. If you have a manual with the mods you listed I would think you should be pulling high 14s. Just my .02

Here are the numbers for my very first and only run I've made.

R/T---.813
60'----2.339
330---6.382
1/8---9.588
MPH--77.89
1000-12.302
1/4---14.610
MPH--97.15

Try out a boost controller. You will like the results. By the way, I have yet to purchase IC piping.

yea u mentioned having a 16g and a FMIC on your profile.. yet u didnt on the post.

if u do have a 16g... they yes man there is something very wrong going on. boost leak IMO... or is your clutch slipping?

If still on T-25 then they are kinda normal. With practice you should be able to shave .2-.3 or so. Make sure you dont shift anywhere after 6k RPMs though... and try n get your 60' to come down some.

Other than that... be careful, and practice!
