my 1/8th mile time

i went to the track about a week ago and pulled my best time and it was only my second time at the track, it was a 10.83 with a 2.4 60ft all i have is a intake filter and a cheao muffler it was on the car when i bought it...should i be faster with my car it's a 5-speed gs. thanks guys

That time is about what I ran in my car. I ran a 10.85 with a 2.516 60' when my GS was bone stock except for heavy 17's. You should be able to improve on that though.

What track did you go to?

The tracks around here are terrible, I can't hook up worth a DAMN!

411 sucks, Knox Drag sucks...

Go to Crossville, you'll pull much better times.

hey thats cool i didn't think anyone on here lived near me. maybe we could meet up some time and hang out. where is that other track at you were talking about never heard of it 1/8th or 1/4? is it closed till next year?

what's up man, I'm another local guy here in knoxvegas. cuke's right, knoxville and 411 both suck for traction. but I don't really have to worry about it since I'm awd. we should all meet up sometime and shoot the sh**.

Yeah, we should all meet up sometime. I will be back in Murfreesboro for the rest of December and early January, but when I get back I'll let you guys know.

that sounds good i know a couple more people around with eclipse's we need to meet up and shoot the sh*t. i can't wait till any track opens i'm ready to practice more.i know at 411 i did better that at knoxville, but i have only run the car 7 times 2 at knoxville and 5 at 411. i'm trying to get a better job so i can get a turbo just can't decide on star or hahn.
