Bigger injectors maybe. Your 60 is decent it must be craping out half way down the track. 101 mph seems a bit slow for a 13.3 . I ran 13.8 at 102 mph. May just need some tuning.

does seem to fall off as soon as i hit 3rd ??????

Sounds like your timing is getting pulled up top and killing your MPH
prolly not getting enough fuel which is causing some big knock count up top

Get a logger and check that thing

In order to get there your gonna need some bigger injectors, 550's or 660's depending on your future plans and also a frount mount will be needed to run 20psi+ and keep that air nice and cold

Yep AFC , fmic , 550s , and some tuning should net you some 12 sec. slips easily. That's my goal but it's a little more complicated when your best 60" time is a 2.2 . You gotta love fwd though. You know lighting up the tires at 45 mph when some chump with a stock civic that he borrowed from his sister keeps reving and looking over to see what your gonna do. Next thing you know the kid is goingOMG and all you can do is :D Oh yeh fwd rocks on the interstate.:thumb:

fmic too many $$$, buschur said smic good for high 11's ?????

you are probably putting a lot of hot air in your engine at 20psi. The stock intercooler cant handle that. Thats what might happened : pre-detonation. How long have you been running 20psi ? Your engine may now no longer able to perform as good :p

you also might want to think about getting a better exaust that is mandrel bent. the incooler you would want is from indy race cores its the street core. its the best one i've ever seen and i love it. indyracecores.com

i hate to be 1 of those guys but buschurs forum says a 16 and 20 psi is ok w stock smic, so im a newbie so who do i listen too ?

screw the guys saying you need bigger injectors..Stock injectors have gone 12.02 incase anybody hasn't noticed as well as the stock sidemount..you have the parts, I would just suggest some tuning...and an AFC so you can lean that #@%#@%#@%#@%#@% out on the race gas...

i like ur answer the best so far, but me being a newbie, define tuning, pocket logger and an afc ? thx in advance.

Pocketlogger is a datalogger that reads from the ECU. Allows you to monitor how your car is running

An AFC lets you add fuel or take away fuel at certain rpm points, which is esentially tuning...

So basically all you have to know is less knock = more timing and more power. It's really not as hard as many people make it out to be. Keep researching and check out TMO.com and look for the tuning page...

and be careful who you listen to...A lot of these people on this board would be better off driving civics...

You also will want to think about installing a 2g mas. I know I picked up a good bit after installing mine

good luck,

Like it has been mentioned before, you need a dataloger.

Without that, no one can really give you any advice on what to do since no one really knows what is going on with your car?

Datalog your car first, then come back with questions after you have all the info necessary to help determine the/any problem.

data logger is ordered, have a snap on scan tool to watch timing, just playing w/it for now. thx

im with the guy who said that the stock injectors(as long as you have a 5spd).

and I also second the exhaust upgrade. you need a good mandrel bent system. Not pressbent. Big difference.
