well I headed back out to the tracks after fixing a few issues with the car, 1st pass of the day was a 11.44 @128mph missing 3rd gear. 2nd pass the clutch once again sliped on me so bad it made me shut it down in 2nd gear.

3rd pass of the day I nailed a 11.09@132mph with 22mph head wind (according to the wind meter) This was done at 27lbs of boost on street tires with a open good ole stock center diff. The tires are 17" toyo proxes 45 series tires. No tracion through 1st nor 2nd gear, car faught me in 2nd so bad, car fished tailed like none other.

Stock intake manifold as well, stock throttle body, car weighs 3150 with me in it.

I wanna break into the 10's with stock intake manifold and throttle body on street tires with stock transmission, not sure how much longer this tranny will hold, but time will only tell.

time slip as follows

R/T .323
60ft. 1.741
330ft 4.816
1/8th 7.273
MPH 103.21
1000ft. 9.356
1/4 11.096
MPH 132.02

Car is daily driven as stated in my other thread.

Damn 11 sec monkey GET OFF ME!!!!!

Man, I wish that I could get an 11-second monkey on my back. ROFL

Your posts and your continued quest for 10s on a daily-driver always tempts me to go further with my TSi. My need as I start a family is for a fun car, but a daily-drive capable one in terms of dependability and reliability. I've always thought that 300 whp was the magic number for our DSMs, but your dedication and tenacity always has me hoping for more for my own ride. Great inspiration.

Keep up the great work!

Thanks man!! Yeah my goal by the end of the season is 10.20's with slicks of course and 30+lbs of boost, once I hit the 10's on stock intake manifold and throttle body on street tires and below 30lbs of boost then I will get the magnus sheetmetal intake and acufab throttle body.

Sooner or later it's going to be that time to give shep a call about a tranny. I'm going back out next weekend to try and get the 10 sec slip, my new clutch disc should be here next thrusday (thank you slowboy racing for the great deal on the street disc!!! :thumb: )

I will keep you guys posted, oh and BTW all these runs are done on c16 race fuel..

Just so you know, Al Blaha ran 10.5 at 132 without NOS, on the old RED turbo. Stock intake manifold, stock throttle body, 1g MAF and Spearco 221 FMIC. His car was full weight mostly too. He had removed little items like sounds deadening, etc. But still had all the interior in it. He was running drag retreads. Motor was never out of the car. Only 2g pistons were slapped in. Miss those days. So you have the potential, especially at that MPH.
