Yeah i plan on buying ethier some 660 or 700s before i get it tuned what do you think it will be good for then dyno and quater thanks for the help

Shit, half that stuff listed doesn't mean anything. Build it and tune it and take it to a dyno and a track.

For the record, 20gs have taken people into the 11's. Will one take you there? Who knows. This isn't some camaro with a crate motor prebuilt and ready to be dropped in. Tuning will determine what you can do.

And while I'm bothering to post....you need to come up with your goals FIRST, not second. Decide what you want to run and then select your parts and make your decisions around the goal. If your goal is to run mid 11's, it sounds like you are 1% of the way there.....the rest of that percentage coming from the building and tuning and driving.

I appreciate the reply but dropping in a crate motor Sh!t. I got more blood sweat in trears in my camaro then prob 95% of the people out there and about 40k too, and try tuning the old fashion way with no computer bullish its alot harder trust me. So before you go assuming ish get your stuff right. I just asked what the setup was good for!

ohh yeah and the car is already built :( and gettin ready to be tunned so i guess what im about 3% there now huh :thumbdown

It is either ready to be tuned, or it isn't. And I'm sorry, but if you think pulling 400 horsepower out of a 400cid engine is harder than pulling it out of a 122cid...well you are wrong. There isn't even an arguement for that.

Either way, you asked a question only you can answer...dyno and track it and come back with the results.

Nah never said that, 400hp is easy but I was in the zone of 800 to 950 to the wheels. Trying to hook that up on a 10in drag radial with stock type suspension in traction advantage class you got to no your sh!t. But all i was trying to do is see what you guys thought that this setup was good for not start a argument and to let that ahole no that there is alot more to it then just droping in a motor

"I am i domestic guy who can appreciate fast imports thats why I want a dsm "

Lesson 1: DSMs are domestics from Illinois.

Lesson 2: Read the signature rules, to wit: NO TEXT.

And finally:

No "bench racing". Bench racing is defined as posting hypothetical questions to try and see how fast or how powerful your car is, or will be. If you want to know what time to expect at the track, whether or not your car can beat another specified car, or how much power it will have with a particular modification (or mod list), then go to the track or the dyno and find out for sure. Do not ask for people to guess in our forums. It's pointless and it wastes space. Serious enthusiasts go out and do it, they don't talk about doing it. If you're not serious about performance, find another online community to be a part of.
