Will PowerSteering Lock up when Conering at High Speed?

I wanna know if this has happened to anyone in auto cross or in the streets? I dont have any place to try this so I personally dont know. Anyone?

it will get much stiffer at high rpms.

It won't lock up. It's variable assist, based off of engine speed. You can run into situations where the assist point will cross between high assist and lower.
