now 50 trim equipped, where oh where did my 60 foots go?

on the big16g i could launch like no other, pulling consistent 1.7 60 foots, i have two 1.6 60 foots to date on it. i am now 50 tirm equipped and i found out by going to the track that i cannot launch anymore. i would either bog the launch, spin all four wheels yiedling 2.0 60 foots or i would pull a nice 1.8 60 foot and then as soon as i shift into second, it would bog then spool, then i was off. yielding me horrible times. consistent 13.0's @ 110 and 109 mph. 12.9 @ 109mph and a cpouple 13.1's

what do u guys suggest to fix this problem ?

welcome to i just got a big turbo and can't drive anymore.... your answer is slip the clutch more than you did with the 16G.. and peg the rev limiter in 1st.. i had a little trouble stepping up as well then got used to it eventually.. it will take time and practice. i still can't get mine out of the hole quick without blowing the tires off.. but oh well 1.7x is good enough for me.

yes, i have always slipped the clutch on launches. yea i guess shifting outta first just before revlimiter, 7400, is definetly in check now huh? only problem is now my 2nd gear is really gonna hate me. it takes me long enough to get the damn thing form 1st to second when shifting it at 7,000,

You're probably gonna have to find the fine line in between booging and spinning all 4 on the launch.

You could also try keeping your foot on the gas during shifts, it should help with the spool.

ive tried that man and my tranny is not having it. it just grinds and i hit rev limiter.
