I have had my tsi awd for about a month now and decided to take it to the track to see what i could run. my mods are

mbc
3" exhaust/ straight pipe
17psi
114 race gas
k&n filter

results........

r/t .541
60 1.9
1/8 9.2 at 74.3 mph
1/4 14.4 at 92.2 mph

I think I should be able to put 13's with these simple mods. what do i need to work on to improve my times? my future mods are.....

2.5 downpipe
ported o2 housing
gm maf
2g mani
190 fuel pump + rewire
afc

will these mods help improve my times? Also i was racing a hb civic with a b20 with basic mods of I/H/E from a roll. He will beat me everytime. From a stop of course i would beat him. We did rolls from 15, 35.and 45mph. He says at the track he runs a 14.6. He also said he would be lower if he could hook up. What other mods could i do to also improve in that area?

No one? Well could someone tell me what i need to improve in to lower my time? Im going to the track tomorrow a little help would be greatly appreciated.

The new clutch will help. With 114 race gas though you should be able to get away with running higher boost.

save your money on the AFC if yor going to get the MAFT, you really dont need it that bad unless you plan to do major fine tuning, but thats just my opinion. other then that I say get a clutch too and you should easily be in the 13's.

I think you should be a little bit faster because I only have a Intake w/KN and MBC set @ 15 psi and I ran a 14.5.

You 60' was about the same as mine too and could be improved.

id turn the boost down till you do some fuel mods such as a 190 or 255 with a rewire. add an safc and adjustable fuel pressure regulator in the mix as well.. screw the GM MAS.. i hate that thing.

Thanks for the input guys. I got my time down to 13.6 last nite. Will the mods i listed above help me improve on my races from a roll?

Here are my times......

r/t .150
60 1.8
1/8 8.1 at 86mph
1/4 13.6 at 103mph

13.6 seems about right, my friend ran a 13.9 on a stock turbo with a boost controller, 3 inch turbo back exhaust, injen intake, bov. with the passenger and rear seat removed.
