Race Tonight in NOVA

Hey everyone in the NOVA area. Tonight ldstang will be racing not one but two, yes count them two Supercharged Mustangs.

Car one is a white 03 GT with the following:

36lbs injectors
procharger syntrifical type supercharger
tuned computer
1.5/8 headers to high flow H-pipe to 3chamber flowmaster exhaust
ram air intake
70mm Throtle Body

Car two is a red 04 Supercharged Cobra

stock with a short shifter

should be a good night, will have updates in the morning

The results are.... well we had more than a couple of races tonight.
First race was gsx rated vs stock STS with the Cadillac Northstar motor. GSX took him out of the hole (obviously) but missed third gear. The STS beat him by 1/2car. Let it be known GSX had over 100lbs worth of tools in the trunk and was only running 12lbs. GSX didnt' know he was going to be racing tonight, therefore he was 'lightened.'
Deeztalon raced the 03 supercharged GT first. Dee in his AWD 1stgen Talon took him out of the hole but was run down at the end of the third gear. Dee unfortunately lost by 1car.
Next up was me. I ran the 04 Cobra first. I had a horrible launch, felt like 2.0 60'. Anyways, we ran through the traps with me winning even having a tough time getting into 3rd. I had him 3cars. The supercharged GT wanted some next. We lined up and took off when the hands dropped. I had an awesome launch spinning for about 20' and took 3 cars on him immediately. I grabbed second chirped the tires and was off again. Through the 1/4mi he was no where to be seen. He said he missed 2nd but wanted another go at it. So we line up again. When the hands dropped my tires spun and spun. Finished 1st and grabbed second chirping the tires again. After grabbing the next two gears I had him by over 6cars at the traps.
So after the DSMs played we let the Mustangs go at. The stock Cobra took the white supercharged GT by 2cars with the GT slowly pulling him in but not having enough room to get by him in time.
Now before getting flamed I am aware that both Mustangs would romp me on the highway. But we didnt' race on the highway so I'll take the victory. Turbo1307 taped all races. He will be loading them and hosting them on www.team-trinity.com the website is old but will hopefully be updated in two weeks or less. Damn im in MD and havnt visited the site for a couple of weeks, otherwise if i had known about it, i would have loved to see these races. Where did you guys race at?? Congrats Liam for the wins. Im kinda shocked though about the GT beating Dee. I wonder how much boost he was running cause ive been in Dee's car and it is pretty damn quick, even the topend is amazing.

i was running 16lbs and it launched awsome but at the end of third i felt the power drop off...alittle tuning and a intercooler ill be alright then..

morning guys. thought i would let u know i talked to jason the owner of the 04 cobra. he informed me that he has work done to his car. he had this work done to the car BEFORE he raced me. he had a smaller pulley, cold air intake and tuned computer. he had the car tuned on the dyno where (so he says) he put down 435hp to the wheels with 465ft/lbs there too to back that up. figured i'd let you all know

if you're up for it.. i got a buddy who's mustang would be a VERY CLOSE race with you, he's been looking for a good run for a while and can't seem to get anyone to race him

actually i have to work... so no go karts for me

really though as far as my friend's mustang, he just wants a good race, he traps 110 (same as you i think?) in the 1/4, so that's why i say it'd be a good race. he doesn't care about money or anything just wants a good fun run, and he hasn't been able to get anyone in quite a while. if you guys want to come down we'll be at the mine road Mcdonalds (between the lot and hooters)

these ####ing cars achieve this kind of power with minimal mods, power that we strive to achieve
