98VR6 vs 92 TSi FWD

So im sittin there on a red light on Foster Rd. (for those that are in Portland, OR) and these 2 i would say 17-19 yr olds pull up next to me in his 97-98 VW Jetta. He had his system going, as I did too, and i turned it down cuz i though i heard a lil rev. So i roll my window down to see if i would hear it again, and he's looking at me just laughing and just rev's it to the red as it seemed. From what i heard, it was an exhaust w. an intake in the front. So as he is looking and talkin to his friend and pointing something @ my car, i just give him one of these :laugh: and put it into 1st gear.... i told him id give him a 2 second head start, and so i did, i counted untill 2 MISSISSIPPI and took off, by the time i got to 6,000RPM on my 2nd gear, i was next to him, and while doing this shifted into 3rd, and kept going, slowing down around 90ish MPH. Next light the guy is pulling up in AWW and asks

Jetta: "WHAT IS THAT" and me being a smart ass reply's
TSi: "A CAR"
Jetta: "WHAT THE HELL IS UNDER THE HOOD"
TSi: "A MOTOR"
Jetta: "WELL NO Sh**, WHAT KIND"
TSi: "ONE WITH PISTONS AND OIL AND ALL THAT OTHER GOOD STUFF, OH AND A STOCK TURBO"
Jetta: "WELL IF I HAD MY 03 GTi I WOULD OF HAD YOU"
TSi: "YEA RIGHT (AND I TAKE OF WITH A

Even though i was being an ass to him, for me it was just the greatest kill to many people underestimate the DSM's but hey, SH** Happens right
