hello everyone! i'm a newbie and I'm here to share my experience and track result. I went to US131 motorsports park last friday night which is the last day of racing before they close for the season. there are around 400+ cars that showed up from trailer queen to bikes. sad part is only few imports that showed up. and half of these imports guys are friends and guys that I knew. friend of mine that have a new mini cooper s ran a 15.9 not bad for that car. friend with an integra type r ran a consistent 13.9. and another friend with a maxima ran a 14.1 not bad with just a y pipe and slicks too bad his clutch is slipping or he can get a better time. all in all I have a great time. by the way here are my times
1st run
R - .603
60' - 1.921
330' - 5.643
1/8 et - 8.748
1/8 mph - 80.47
1000' et - 11.394
1000 ' mph - 92.95
1/4 et - 13.669
1/4 mph - 99.98
2nd run
R - .568
60' - 2.240
330' - 6.055
1/8 et - 9.183
1/8 mph - 79.92
1000' et - 11.837
1000' mph - 90.91
1/4 et - 14.114
1/4 mph - 100.21

my 1st run was great but I need to work on my 60'. but my 2nd run was dissappointing cause I bog down but I still manage to do a 100 mph trap speed.

That first run is pretty good. What mods do you have? your profile says stock, but no ones going to believe 13.6 @ 99 bone stock. Notice your MPH in the second run is faster, but your ET is slower, all due to that 2.2 60'.

To help you be more consistent off the line you might look into using a launch RMP rev limiter, commonly known as a stutterbox. There are several ways to accomplish this; but the more common ones are through an ingntion box, or through a reprogrammed ECU.

Good luck,

no it's not stock. the reason is I always phrase the word "it's all stock" especially here in our small city of portage. when ricers asked me if what I have done to my car I always said "it's all stock" the only thing you will notice is my FMIC which sometimes I or my friends refer to as that silver thing in the front is a big radiator for extra cooling. and everytime I go to my local hang out place they call my car as it's all stock. and now few of my friends are now using the phrase everytime they have an upgrade to their cars. well anyways, here are my mods list.
14b ported and polished w/ 34mm flapper
FMIC
3" turbo back
high flow cat
upgrade fuel pump
electronic boost control
mushroom air intake
1g bov
UICP
bpr7es spark plug
8.5 mm wire
boost gauge
short throw shifter
ebc rotors and red stuff pads
thats all I can think of right now..

forgot to mentioned my clutch. I have clutchmasters stage 4 but I don't see a diff. between my previous run using a stock clutch cause I manage to ran a 13.7 at my stock clutch this was two months ago before I replace it. my stock clutch have 98 thousand miles before I replace it. or maybe it's just a driver thing. I guess I need to learn it to launch like a bat out of hell. by the way I was running 18 psi with 93 octane and I launch @ 5000 not dump but slip.
