This weekend was the first time i have ever went to the track. i have to say i really liked it and i am looking forward to going again. I wish i would have picked a different day to go, it was just way too freaking hot outside. my best run of the day was a 15.022 @ 93.49 mph with a 60' of 2.413. In still on the stock tires, my mods are the following uicp with 1g bov, hks evc IV set at 1.2 bar, apexi downpipe and catback with no cat, injen intake with k&n filter. a perfect light at the track is a .000 the closest i got was .084. My cars is an automatic so i still have some trouble with the launches, i spun a couple of my launches. All and all i think it was a good day, but kinda sad was expecting a high 14 second slip.

Not bad for a first trip to the track.

I ran my stock GST to a [email protected], and others have gone a bit faster. You'll get there bro. Good luck. :thumb:

My first time at the track I ran 15.8,15.6, then found the ac on I turned it off and ran a 14.9@95mph. This was with stock shitty 205 all seasons 9psi BONE stock full interior. Youll get there...

Did you power brake?? Mash the brake and floor it should launch with about 2500 rpms. Power brake launches will definitley make a big difference in your time.

You did better than me! My first run in my 92 was over 18 seconds. (Well it kinda had to do with the fact my timing belt slipped in the middle of the run...... ) You can only get better, your first time out is always the worst, cuz nerves, and not knowing how your car will be (espec for me). Gl on future runs :thumb:

first run i did i just hit it, on the second run which i got the best time i power braked, then i tried to turn up the boost and power brake, but i just spun out tru first and half way thru second. im putting in a shift kit and end clutch plates soon, and ill see if that will make any difference in the time, plus im gonna take out all the junk that i have in the trunk (books, tools, clothe).
