Can you launch good when u have an N/A car. If so what is the best way of doin this that doesnt completely destroy your clutch?

take it up to 6000, slip the clutch and bame you take off or put alot of air in the front and a very low amount in the rear and you are good to go

on a more serious note...WWD cars are hard to launch...its takes practice trhough trial and error...

you can lower the pressure in your tires to like 20-25 psi and i heard that helps

i dont suggest launching over 3500 rpms because you just spin tires

but your getting advice from someone who pulls constant 2.5 60 foots so I am still learning myself, but I blame the JUN flywheel to a extent since that mother#@%#@%#@%#@%er makes it hard as #@%#@%#@%#@% to launch

I usually launch at about 3K. Nice launch without too much wheelspin.

You can spin the tires on a 1.8L???;) Your car looks a hell of a lot better than mine though...even though mine looks pretty good(stock)

I rev the car up to 3500-4000rpm and slip the clutch. I get consistent 2.3 60' times that way. I would get an even better launch if I had some better tires, lighter rims (gsx rims on stock goodyear eagle rsa's), and some aftermarket struts.

i usually launch at about 3-4k and slip the clutch half way then floor and dump it, i have good tires but even with my zieks it still worked pretty well, it sort of eliminates some of the wheelspin.

i fully agree, although i used to slip it very fast. almost a slip then dump like the awd guys do. i'd be curious to see what kind of 60' times you gusys get that are launching at 5500 rpm or whatever.
